With one more step ahead of his own way of functioning, KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is likely to bring together all key like offices of Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and Hyderabad City Police Commissioner into one extensive complex in Hyderabad.
According to sources, KCR is keen on the key functionaries of the state to stay in one integrated complex with house-cum-camp office either in Banjara Hills, Shaikpet or another suitable locality so that they are available at short notice to take quick decisions at crucial times. It is learnt that the Chief Minister asked the officials to look for a suitable government land in city for an integrated complex. The Chief Secretary and others agreed to the suggestion and promised to explore for the piece of land, added sources.
KCR, reportedly held discussions on Thursday with Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, DGP Anurag Sharma, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy, Cyberabad Commissioner C.V. Anand, IG Intelligence, Shivdhar Reddy et al to improve the brand image of Hyderabad, said sources.
According to sources, KCR asked the police officials to take every possible measure to improve policing, adopt a people friendly approach and curb crime rate. Reportedly, KCR assured for full government support in providing the needed financial assistance to the police department.
