Amrapali kata ( born 4-11-1982) is an Indian Administrative officer of 2010 batch borne to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. she is popularly known as young and energetic IAS Officer. She is the first lady IAS Officer to be appointed to the newly formed Warangal Urban district in Telangana.

Amrapali Kata is the Urban Warangal district Collector. A native of Visakha, she is the daughter of a Professor in Andhra University. Amrapali Kata, who aspired to become an IAS officer since begin, achieved the feat finally with her hard work and dedication.

By now, most everyone in the state of Telangana knew her as young and dynamic public servant. She is Yoga lover, takes care of her health by taking a balanced diet. She has become a source of inspiration to many people and many people have been following her on social media sites.

IAS Amrapali Education

Amrapali Kata completed B.Tech from IIT Madras (Civil Engineering) and she did PG Diploma from IIM Bangalore. She got her 1st posting in Andhra Pradesh. Also, worked in ABN AMRO as a Jr. Relationship Banker, and became Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer in 2010.

Earlier she worked as Sub-Collector in Vikarabad District. Later, in 2014, Amrapali kata was transferred and posted as Director in Women and Child Welfare Department. She appointed as Collector & District Magistrate for Warangal Urban District in 2016.
