Hyderabad district Collector M K Meena informed a one-week drive in city from October 13 to issue application forms for food security, pension and FAST schemes.
Caste, nativity, income and pension forms will also be available at Tehsildar offices while food security card applications will be kept at ration shops, says Hyderabad Collector
Briefing details here, Collector M K Meena informed that application forms would be kept at 16 Tahsildar and 850 ration shops for the convenience of people. Caste, nativity and income besides pension applications would be made available at Tahsildar offices, where as application forms for availing food security cards would be kept at ration shops.
Guidelines on who is eligible to apply for these schemes would be released in a day or two by the government, he added.

Further, district administration would consider setting up a toll free number so that people could bring any problems they encounter to the notice of higher authorities.
Pointing out that Aadhaar card enrolment was almost 99 per cent complete in the State capital, he stated that applicants should not face any difficulties while submitting details of Aadhaar card. Those who did not receive Aadhaar card could submit details given at the time of enrolment, he said.
He said, “The Telangana government has already weeded out close to 10 lakh bogus white ration cards and about 80 lakh cards exist now. The government could supply ration to these card holders without any hiccup. Then, what was the need for these so-called food security cards, he questioned.
