The state government of Telangana is all set ready for the official celebrations of Bathukamma festival. It is evident that the state government has decided to hold the celebrations officially on its own and even a huge sum amounting RS 10cr have been allocated for the celebrations.
The TRS led state government is keen for holding the celebrations, officially, in a never-before manner.
KCR held a special meeting with the women employees of Telangana secretariat concerning the plan for the celebrations. A decision has been taken by him to reduce the working hours for women employees during the entire period of Bathukamma celebrations.
By this, the women employees of state secretariat will have to work till 2 p.m. from September 23 to October 2.
KCR urged the women employees that the celebrations of Bathukamma should attract the entire world. For the same, a total of five groups has been set up out of Secretariat staff. Each group will visit a particular district and coordinate the employees.
The entire responsibility has been bestowed upon Smita Sabarwal, the Additional Secretary at CMO.
