Superstar Mahesh Babu is the most popular Telugu actor in the international markets, especially in North America. His last five releases have crossed $1 million mark at the U.S. box office. His last outing “Srimanthudu” has collected $2.88 million in the country, becoming the second highest grossing Telugu film of all time after “Baahubali: The Beginning.”
The makers of “Brahmotsavam” have already delivered the content in all international markets and the movie is set for massive premieres everywhere in the international markets. Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted, “#Brahmotsavam content is shipped to all overseas destinations yesterday night. Premieres are ON for 19 May!”
“Brahmotsavam.” Classics Entertainments, which earlier distributed “Srimanthudu,” has bagged its international theatrical rights for a whopping price of Rs. 13 crore.
The distribution company is now busy making arrangements to cash on massive craze of Mahesh Babu in foreign lands.
Mahesh Babu’s “Aagadu” has collected $533K at the U.S. box office in the premiere shows, while his last outing “Srimanthudu” raked in $500K.
Pawan Kalyan’s recent film “Sardar Gabbar Singh” collected $616K at the U.S. box office in the preview shows and become the second highest grossing Telugu film after “Bahubali: the Beginning,” which has grossed $1,010,550 from the premiere shows.
