At least 18 persons were killed and several others injured when an RTC bus collided with a lorry near Indrapalanagaram of Ramannapeta in Nalgonda district on Wednesday. The bus was going to Bhuvanagiri from Nalgonda at the time of mishap.
The accident occurred around 3.30 pm when the bus was hit by the speeding lorry.
The RTC bus bearing the registration number AP 29 Z 2270 belonged to Narketpally depot. The injured were rushed to a Kamineni hospital for treatment. There were 45 passengers in the bus.
