The Chief Minister KCR Launched the 2BHK Houses at IDH Colony at New Boiguda in Secunderabad today(16-11-216) Accompanied by ministers A Indrakaran Reddy (Housing), Nayani Narasimha Reddy (Home), Srinivas Yadav (Commercial Taxes) and T Harish Rao (Irrigation) and other officials, the Chief Minister inaugurated the 2BHK houses at IDH Colony.

He expressed satisfaction over the quality of construction. He said that the IDH Colony houses would serve a model for the entire state.
396 units – with each comprising of two bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen – are being constructed in 32 G+2 blocks on 580 square yards at a cost of Rs 37 crores.
The average cost of construction per unit is around Rs 9.7 lakhs.
It may be mentioned that the state government had issued order sanctioning Rs 36.54 crores for construction of 386 new houses at IDH Colony and in the slum areas of Ammuguda, Parthiwada, Bhagat Singh Nagar and Subash Chandra Bose Nagar.
