CM KCR New Home Pragathi Bhavan Details: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will move to his new camp office at 5.22 am on Thursday. Citing “bad vastu” in the existing camp office, Rao decided to abandon the same and constructed the new camp office with an estimated cost of around Rs 38 crore.
The CM laid the foundation stone for the new camp office building on March 6 and the construction of the new building was completed in just eight months. “The Chief Minister’s new camp office will have one lakh square feet of office space with facilities like video-conference hall with a seating capacity of 1,000 people,” official sources said.

According to an official release from CMO on Wednesday, the official residential building and office complex of Rao will be formally inaugurated at 5.22 am on Thursday. Rao and his wife will perform house warming ceremony.
The official building complex, which will have Chief Minister’s residence, his office, conference hall comprising five buildings including the existing two buildings has been named as ‘Pragathi Bhavan’ by the government.
The conference hall will serve as a meeting place of the CM with all the concerned citizens and is named as ‘Janahita’. At Janahita, Rao will interact with various sections of the people, like farmers, workers, employees, artisans and a host of others on a one-on-one basis to formulate the government’s policies and their implementation.
According to sources, the first conference of all the 31 district collectors is likely to be conducted by the Chief Minister at his new camp office shortly.
As part of the Griha Pravesh, Rao and his wife will perform Daiva Pravesam, Yati Pravesam, Go pravesam and Pravesam (formally entering) and other related ceremonies. Governor ESL Narasimhan and seer Chinna Jeer Swamy will attend the ceremonies.
