The Chief Minister KCR will formally launch the Mission Kakatiya programme Today at Sadashivanagar mandal headquarters on March 12th 2015. The project is estimated to cost Rs 25,000 crore over the next four years.
After launching the Mission Kakatiya, Mr Rao will address a public meeting near the Pond. The government had decided to launch Mission Kakatiya in Warangal district by inviting Union minister for water resources Uma Bharati.
The venue was shifted to Nizamabad district as the election code of conduct is in force in Warangal for the MLC elections.

Irrigation minister T. Harish Rao visited Yellareddy Assembly constituency including Sadashivanagar mandal and had checked the condition of water tanks on Friday.
Jukkal TRS MLA Hanmanth Shinde said that project would change the economy of Telangana villages. Recalling his services as an engineer in the irrigation department before entering politics, Mr Shinde said that participation of people in the programme is needed.
The district administration has made arrangements for the Chief Minister’s meeting.
