Coca Cola, Adani Group keen on investments in TS
In a big boost to Telangana’s efforts to attract investments, soft drinks giant Coca Cola has evinced interest in setting up a plant in the State with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore.
Company’s executive vice president Irial Finan said that Telangana was one of the biggest markets for Coca Cola. He said the company is interested in setting up a mega plant with Rs 1000 crores investment.
Finan met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao along with regional head, India T Krishna Kumar and assured that they would participate in the community development programmes of the Government. Meanwhile, Chairman of Adani Group of Companies Goutham Adani called on the Chief Minister in his chambers on Monday.
He explained about the company’s profile and activities. He briefed the Chief Minister that they would be able to produce 20000 MW of power by 2020 and would be in a position to meet the requirements of the States.
KCR told the visiting industrialists that his government was in the process of preparing an Industrial policy and would have a single window clearance system. He said lands have been identified to provide to the industries.
