GHMC Monsoon Emergency Team Vehicles Started
GHMC Monsoon Emergency Team Vehicles: As part of monsoon action plan, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Bonthu Rammohan has flagged off monsoon emergency team vehicles at the civic body head office building near Tank Bund.
Speaking to the media, GHMC Mayor said that the corporation has deployed 39 monsoon emergency teams. Apart from these, the corporation has also deployed seven circle-level central emergency teams, seven town planning monsoon emergency teams, seven urban biodiversity monsoon emergency teams, six instant pot hole filling teams and four Central emergency teams.
He said as many as 70 teams have been deployed to tackle the emergency situations during the monsoon. Rammohan said that the corporation has spent about Rs 12 crore to purchase the equipment in the monsoon emergency vehicles.
He said equipment worth Rs 1.10 crore was supplied to Hyderabad city police and Rs 90 lakh to Cyberabad police making the total to Rs 14 crore.
