Hours after AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu called upon his counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao to sort out all pricklish issues through dialogue, Governor ESL Narasimhan took the initiative to facilitate such a meeting between them at Raj Bhavan on Friday evening.
The Governor who hosted the ‘At Home’ on the occasion of 68th Independence Day celebrations took both inside Raj Bhavan and reportedly advised them on the need to talk it out.
Though it is not known what exactly transpired between the two CMs, sources said issues like cancellation of PPAs, division of employees, sharing of water, special powers to the Governor etc figured at the meeting. It may be mentioned that the Governor had earlier brought them together on August 2 during the reception for President Pranab Mukherjee.
The one-time colleagues-turned foes set aside their differences and shook hands, giving a rare photo opportunity to the shutterbugs.
