Hurry up to get fancy number for your vehicle

Citizens who have reserved fancy registration numbers for their vehicles in the auction should get their vehicles registered before May 30 or they would have to forego the number and also the money paid for reserving the number. With the appointed date, for the two States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh fast approaching, the transport department is winding up the accounts of united Andhra Pradesh State.

The appointed date for the two states is June 2 and the transport department would not function on May 31 because of closure of common account and June 1 is a Sunday. In this scenario, the registrations in united Andhra Pradesh would end by May 30.

RTA authorities said that those who have reserved fancy numbers in the auction through sealed cover should get their registrations done on or before May 30. The fancy numbers are most sought in the RTA offices and people shell out lakhs of rupees to get their desired registration number.
