The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will hold a Cabinet meeting on Friday. The meeting is likely to focus on ambitious projects of water grid, restoration of lakes, PRC, Harithaharam, skyscrapers, transforming Hyderabad into a global destination, Metro Rail, pension scheme among other welfare schemes.
Besides, the Chief Minister is expected to take suggestions from his cabinet colleagues on contentious issues including EAMCET among other common entran ce tests, water and power sharing between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

KCR is likely to warn of dire consequences on the ministers concerned if any dereliction of duty and corruption is reported. The Cabinet meeting assumes importance as it is being held after a cabinet reshuffle following expulsion of T Rajaiah on corruption charges and replacing K Srihari in his place.
