KCR confident of Zero Corruption Industrial Policy in Telangana
The Telangana state government will come up with a ‘zero corruption industrial policy in Telangana’ shortly and it will be propagated all over the world, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao told a high-level US delegation that called on him at Secretariat on Friday.
Further, he pointed out that a special chasing cell would be set up exclusively in his office for expediting clearances by industries within two weeks. Hyderabad, which is a seismological safe zone offers better prospects for establishing excellent industries.
About three lakh acres of land would be made available to prospective industrialists in Telangana to create excellent infrastructure facilities, he added.
The US delegation, which was led by Arun Kumar, US Assistant Secretary for Global Markets, Department of Commerce, expressed interest to invest in aviation and defence sectors.
When Consul-General Michel Mullins informed Chief Minister about their new Consulate building to come up soon in Hyderabad, KCR suggested to them that the office building should be the best one in India. He promised to ensure that permissions for the new building to house the American Consulate are given speedily
They also discussed about possibilities of organising a joint Indo-American summit some time later this year.
