Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy welcomed the appointment of Amit Shah as the party’s national president.
Congratulating Shah on his appointment, Kishan Reddy said that Amit Shah is an able leader who ensured BJP’s grand victory in UP by winning 73 of the 80 Lok Sabha seats.
He said that as Gujarat Home Minister, Amit Shah utilised CCTV technology to improve security in Ahmedabad. He said, “With Amit Shah’s support, we will strengthen the party in the State.”
Senior leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao and BJP leader K Laxman said that Amit Shah worked his way up to the top post through sheer hard work from the beginning as a humble party worker.
He has vast experience in organisational matters and the party is bound to grow in the country under his leadership, said Laxman.
The party leaders celebrated the event at the office after the announcement of Shah as the chief of the party.
