The HMDA Commissioner T Chiranjeevulu on Tuesday inspected the sites and discussed the plans for foundation ceremony. The State government was taking up both the projects prestigiously and these had scope of providing employment for many directly and indirectly.
The Logistic Park at Batasingaram will be coming up in an area of 40 acres abutting on NH-65 while the one at Mangalpally is planned in 22 acres on the Sagar Road. The HMDA Commissioner said the parks will be equipped with all facilities and help curb the entry of heavy vehicles traffic into the city.
The goods can be stored at warehouses and cold storages and the same can be transported to different parts of the city through autos and mini trucks, he explained. “Efforts are being made to complete the projects in three years and offer world class facilities to transporters and drivers as well,” said Chiranjeevulu.
While, Batasingaram project is being taken up by KPC Limited, Mangalpally project is handled by Ancon Design Group.
