The Superstar Rajinikanth Lingaa Censor report is a ‘U’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), to making it suitable to watch for all age groups of fans. The Lingaa is release in cinemas Dec 12 in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
“‘Lingaa’ will release on Rajinikanth’s birthday. The censors have passed it with ‘U’ certificate,” film’s director K.S. Ravi Kumar said in a statement.
According to producer Rockline Venkatesh, the film is going to release in over 2,000 screens global wise.

Also starring Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty, “Lingaa” marks Rajinikanth’s third collaboration with Ravi Kumar after “Muthu” and “Padayappa”.
Rajinikanth will be seen playing a dual role in the film, which has music by A.R. Rahman.
