The Super star action thriller movie. Lingaa / Linga First / 1st day Box Office Collections. in this movie Rajinikanth will be seen in a dual role. Along with Rajinikanth, the movie stars Jagapati Babu, Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty.
The movie is produced by Rockline Venkatesh under the production banner Rockline Entertainments. K.S Ravikumar is the director of the movie and he has also contributed to the script writing in collaboration with movie’s dialogue writer Pon Kumaran.
The movie will be released in Telugu and Hindi also besides Tamil.

Lingaa has concluded the opening day of its release in both the states. The makers are yet to reveal figures of its Friday collection. As per early trends, the film has collected approximately Rs 5+ crore at the AP and Telangana box-office on the first day of its release. It has been the opening day business record of Robo, which was the biggest opener for Rajinikanth in these states.

Recently Eros International has bought the distribution rights from Rockline Venkatesh for 169 Crores or INR 1.69 billion (US$27 million), which includes theatrical and overseas rights of Lingaa for all languages.The satellite rights of the film were purchased by Jaya TV for 32 Cr or INR 320 million (US$5.2 million) grossing a net box office collection of INR 201 crore before the release.
