The Centre-appointed Prathyush Sinha Committee met for 6 hours in Delhi and made allotments of IAS officers between both States. AP and Telangana chief secretaries, Mr I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and Dr Rajiv Sharma drove the allotment process up and above the Committee’s guidelines.
Some of the officers allotted to AP and Telangana could be swapped in next few days with deputation, as per the understanding between the Chief Ministers of both States. To start with, the Chief Secretaries and DGPs of both the states were retained and allotted to the same states following mutual cooperation between both the governments.
However, some officers’ allotment details aren’t available as there is a missing page from those uploaded in Govt’s website.
Many prominent officers serving in top positions of both States got allotted to opposite State. Some of them, mentioned below are preferred by their present political bosses and may be swapped.
