Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the Mission Kakatiya pylon, the prestigious flagship programme of the Telangana government, at Warangal in the first week of February.

Addressing district authorities through video conference from Secretariat, Harish said since the Prime Minister would be visiting Warangal, the officials should keep the detailed project report ready on the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayi Yojana by January 25. Reviewing the progress of works under Mission Kakatiya, the minister said each tank had been allotted a unique ID number.
Prior to submission of Mission Kakatiya Phase-I completion report, FTL boundaries should be fixed and works at the field level should be fully inspected, plantation should be raised on tank bunds, tank ayacut should be mapped in association with revenue officials. He said all review meetings hereafter would be through online.
He said that he was giving administrative approval to restore 3000 tanks during this week and asked them to tighten their belts for the technical sanction and tender process. He wanted chief engineers appointed in districts as nodal officials to regularly review the progress of the Mission Kakatiya works.
He issued instructions to district collectors on Mission Kakatiya Phase-I and Phase-2, district irrigation plan, RRR, World Bank and JICA funds. The Irrigation department roped in engineering expert Hanumantha Rao to get irrigation engineers trained on various aspects of irrigation development.
