The popular backward class leader, Nethi Vidyasagar is a graduate and hails from an agriculturalist family from Nalgonda district.
During his four decade long career, he held various positions including Block Congress President, Nakrekal; President District Youth Congress, Nalgonda; Member, A.P. Congress Committee; President, District Congress Committee, Nalgonda (2007-2011); MLC during 2007-2009 and 2009-2015.
After formation new Telangana State he was joined TRS party.
