Amid the reports that the entry passes for the audio launch of Sardaar Gabbar Singh are selling for a whopping amount and the event might get cancelled due to several security constraints, actor Pawan Kalyan called for a surprise press meet on Saturday.
The actor appealed to his fans that only those who have passes for the event should come to the venue and requested the others not to gather around there. “Those who don’t have passes should not even try to come and stand in groups at the gates.
The police said the Novotel hotel has a lot of foreign delegates and did not want any trouble for them. As a result, several restrictions are being imposed. If you don’t have a pass, please enjoy the audio launch at home,” he advised his fans.
Pawan Kalyan thanks Harish Rao and KTR
Pawan Kalyan, who is also the founder of Jana Sena party, has personally thanked the Telangana government and Ministers KTR, Harish Rao and Commissioner of Police CV Anand for their cooperation.
Media was abuzz with reports that the Power Star was quitting films to take active role in politics.
When asked about the rumours, Pawan Kalyan categorically said that he was not quitting films. “The reports about my film career are false. I am not quitting films,” he said.
Pawan Kalyan also confirmed that actor and his elder brother Chiranjeevi would launch Sardaar Gabbar Singh audio. “I have invited Chiranjeevi for this audio launch. He had also launched Gabbar Singh audio,” he added and expressed his readiness to do a film with Chiru.
The Gabbar Singh actor further said that he wrote Johnny and now he had written the screenplay for Sardaar Gabbar Singh after a gap of 13 years.
Directed by K S Ravindra (Bobby), the movie is set in the backdrop of the Khammam-Chhattisgarh border. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead in the film and it is all set to release on April 8.
Maverick director Ram Gopal Verma, who has been making sarcastic comments on Twitter about Pawan Kalyan for long time, took potshots at the actor once again.
Pawan Kalyan is getting ready to test his luck at the Bollywood box office by releasing his upcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh in Hindi in a big way.
In a series of tweets, RGV said that releasing the film in Hindi would be a huge blunder. He tweeted, “Without having the visual magnitude of Baahubali, it will be a super duper blunder to release Sardar Gabbar Singh in Hindi.” In another tweet, Varma said, “P K should come in Hindi only when the film also is as big as BaahuBali… Sardar Gabbar Singh minus PK will look very small in front of BB.”
He also said, “If there is even just one smart and truthful person around Pawan Kalyan, I request him to advise P K not to make this Himalayan mistake. It will be bad for Pawan Kalyan if “Sardar Gabbar Singh” box office in Hindi will prove that Prabhas is bigger than P K on a national level.”
When the media asked Pawan Kalyan if he is aware of Varma’s tweets about him, Pawan Kalyan said: “I respect his opinions and views”.
