#Revanthreddy was being #Arrested by Telangana police in the middle of the night as the leader was getting ready to do anti protest on KCR meeting in #Kodangal as the leader Was being arrested and was hidden in an unidentified place.
The electoral rivalry reached a peak between the Congress and the ruling TRS in Kodangal segment in Vikarabad district. Congress Working President Revanth Reddy was arrested from his house at midnight by the police ahead of CM K Chandrasekhara Rao’s election meeting today. Revanth was forcibly taken away from his house after the police appeared suddenly in large numbers.
Revanth’s children took videos of the preventive arrest. Already, the police booked two cases against Revanth in Kodangal police station for giving call for dharna and protest and obstruct the KCR’s election meeting. The election authorities have also taken serious note of Revanth’s protest. Seeing the spiralling situation, the police have decided to take Revanth into preventive custody and ensure smooth conduct of the TRS public meeting.

కాంగ్రెస్‌ కార్యనిర్వాహక అధ్యక్షుడు రేవంత్‌రెడ్డిని పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్‌ చేశారు. తెరాస అధినేత, సీఎం కేసీఆర్‌ కొడంగల్‌ నియోజవర్గంలోని కోస్గిలో మంగళవారం నిర్వహించనున్న బహిరంగ సభలో ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటనలు చోటుచేసుకోకుండా ఉండేందుకు పోలీసులు చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. దీనిలో భాగంగా రేవంత్‌రెడ్డిని పోలీసులు ముందస్తుగా అరెస్ట్‌ చేశారు.
మంగళవారం వేకువ జామున 3 గంటల సమయంలో రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి నివాసంలోకి బలవంతంగా ప్రవేశించిన పోలీసులు గేటు తాళాలు పగులగట్టి అతన్ని అదుపులోకి తీసుకొన్నారు. రేవంత్‌రెడ్డితో పాటు అతని సోదరులు, వాచ్‌మెన్‌, గన్‌మెన్లను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. అనంతరం పరిగి వద్ద వాచ్‌మెన్‌ను వదిలివెళ్లారు.
పోలీసుల తీరుపై రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి భార్య గీత అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తన భర్తను బలవంతంగా తీసుకెళ్లారని, తమ ఆత్మ గౌరవం మీద దెబ్బకొడితే ఊరుకునేది లేదని ఆమె ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. కార్యకర్తలు సంయమనం పాటించాలని, ఓటుతో బుద్ధి చెప్పాలని గీత కోరారు. రేవంత్‌రెడ్డిని శంషాబాద్‌ పోలీస్‌స్టేషన్‌కు తరలించినట్లు సమాచారం. రేవంత్‌ అరెస్ట్‌కి ముందు అతని నివాసం వద్ద 100 మందికి పైగా పోలీసులు మోహరించారు.
కేసీఆర్‌ సభ నేపథ్యంలో నిరసన ర్యాలీకి పిలుపునివ్వడంతో పోలీసులు రేవంత్‌ను అరెస్ట్‌ చేశారు. ఇప్పటికే కొడంగల్‌ నియోజకవర్గంలోని అన్ని మండలాల్లో 144 సెక్షన్‌ అమలవుతోంది. మరోవైపు బొంరాస్‌పేట మండలంలోనూ పలువురిని పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్‌ చేశారు. ఆ మండలానికి చెందిన 9 మంది కాంగ్రెస్‌ నాయకులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నట్లు సమాచారం.
