Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said Centre has announced Rs 800 crore for the rejuvenation of Musi Riverfront through the Musi Heritage Revitalisation Project.
The fund would go a long way to make Hyderabad a world-class city, said the minister.
The Union minister conducted a high-level review meeting with officials on Hyderabad development.
He said permanent shelters to weaker sections & deprived classes and toilets in government schools would be provided in GHMC.
The Union Minister directed the officials to submit proposals for financial assistance to develop infrastructure in Hyderabad.
