Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said Centre has announced Rs 800 crore for the rejuvenation of Musi Riverfront through the Musi Heritage Revitalisation Project.
The fund would go a long way to make Hyderabad a world-class city, said the minister.
The Union minister conducted a high-level review meeting with officials on Hyderabad development.
He said permanent shelters to weaker sections & deprived classes and toilets in government schools would be provided in GHMC.
The Union Minister directed the officials to submit proposals for financial assistance to develop infrastructure in Hyderabad.
The minister said once he receives the proposals, he will do everything to get the funds released to provide Hyderabad with better infrastructure and facilities on par with
