The Supreme Court has finally ordered the Telangana and AP to initiate the 2nd Phase EAMCET Counselling, this is very good news for the students who have been awaiting the 2nd phase EAMCET Counselling.
It ordered both the states to conduct the counseling according to the educational standards and rules set by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
The court has sharply responded over AP’s filed petition seeking second time chance for the counseling as the first phase largely failed to take place due to confusions among the students because of the bifurcation of the state.
During the first phase, around 60,000 seats in AP and 12,000 seats in Telangana remained vacant due to announcements like ‘FAST scheme and exclusion of 170 colleges by the Telangana government.
The court ordered to finish the counseling till November 14th and submit the written statements by both states saying they would follow the 240 day syllabus system in the Technical education.
