Telangana state government will give another chance for those people who have not been covered in the Intensive Household Survey for various reasons.
Principal secretary (Planning) BP Acharya and Principal Secretary (Rural Development) Raymond Peter conducted a video conference with district collectors on the Intensive Household Survey at Secretariat on Wednesday.
According to officials, the survey was conducted for 1,05,76,922 houses in the State. In GHMC area alone, survey was carried out in 19.43 lakh houses. However, around 2 lakh households in GHMC area, 10,655 houses in Ranga Reddy district and around 10,000 houses each in Khammam and Warangal districts are yet to be visited by the enumerators. That put the whole missing households at 2.3 lakh.
These households missed for a variety of reasons, while some were locked during the survey, the surveyors missed a few due to the demanding schedule they had and some due to practical difficulties in identifying households.
But the new date has to wait till the CM returns to Hyderabad after his trip to Singapore and Malaysia.
So another go would be made at these households to complete the survey process.
