As predicted, “Bengal Tiger” debuted with fantastic response, with average occupancy crossing 85% on Thursday. The film grossed approximately Rs 7.35 crore at the AP/T box office on its first day. The film fetched Rs 5.28 crore to the distributors of these regions. But it failed to beat the opening-day record of Ravi Teja’s last release “Kick 2”, which had raked in Rs 7.65 crore on the first day.
“Bengal Tiger” has collected Rs 19.60 crore gross at the AP/T box office in the first weekend, and its distributors’ share stands at Rs 13.65 crore. The film has beaten the records of “Power” and “Kick 2”, which fetched Rs 11.75 crore and Rs 12.13 crore, respectively, for their distributors in the two states.
The Ravi Teja, Tamannaah and Raashi Khanna-starrer has done average business in other parts of the globe. “Bengal Tiger” has collected approximately Rs 25.55 crore at the worldwide box office in the four-day extended first weekend, and its distributors’ share stands at Rs 16.60 crore.
