Indian Army is conducting 11 day recruitment rally from May 21 to 31 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Hanamkonda to enrol candidates into the Army. A notification to recruit as many as 1,000 candidates has been released.
Aspiring candidates from All 31 District of Telangana (Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhoopalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Medchal, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban) and Yadadri Bhuvanagir). said the ARO Director Colonel Pawan Puri.

Later addressing the press, he said the candidates will be recruited in six categories. The categories are – soldier (general duty), soldier (tradesman), soldier (technical), soldier (technical aviation & ammunition examiner), soldier (nursing assistant) and soldier (clerk/store keeper technical), Col Puri informed.
Candidates in the age group of 17 years and six months to 23 years can apply online by visiting www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from April 6 to May 5 and those completed SSC have to submit their certificates. Admit card will be issued online after May 9.
Date of reporting at the rally site will be given on the admit card and the applicant can take print out of admit card after May 9 from the said website. “It is a great opportunity to serve the nation and the youth should make use of it,” Col Puri said.
There has been good response to the recruitment rally conducted in 2016 during which nearly 600 men recruited from Telangana State, he said while thanking the district administration for coming forward to make arrangements for the
ensuing rally.
