It is this hopping across departments that has turned a nightmare for the already traumatized victims. The helpline would be equipped with the databank on zila panchayats, village panchayats and grama sabhas so that whenever a complaint is received by the helpline, the relevant local authority would reach out to the victim in the quickest possible time to provide aupport.
