- Gram Jyothi programme is aimed at ushering in ‘Gram Swaraj’
- He warns people’s representatives that the people will turn against them unless they address the problems
- He advises the opposition to stop mud-slinging at the government
He advised the opposition parties to stop mud-slinging at the government. “We should together strive for rural development to usher in Gram Swaraj. Unless we promote development of rural areas, people will not support us,” he told the legislators.
Social equations should be ensured in the constitution of governing bodies, he said. He told the legislators and MPs that the people would back the TRS in its endeavour to usher in a welfare state if the leaders addressed their grievances. He stressed the need to address the problems being faced by the people both in villages and towns.
