Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao spent a busy first day in Singapore on Wednesday. KCR reached Singapore at 6 am. Later he was accorded a warm reception by Telugu NRIs at Ritz- Carlton hotel. At 11 am, KCR visited the stadium that was set to host IIM Alumni meet ‘Impact’ on August 22.
KCR then visited multi-storyed JTC and Ascendas offices in the city and spoke with engineering officials on infrastructure development. The Singapore Science Park is the definitive address for R&D. Home to more than 350 MNCs, local companies and national institutions; its lushly landscaped grounds create the ideal ambience and working environment for an exclusive community of over 9,000 researchers, engineers and support staff.

KCR went round the park and enquired about various aspects there. The engineers and executives in the park took him around and explained the salient feature of it.
The Chief Minister KCR was very impressed with the park which was strategically located along Singapore’s “Technology Corridor. It is the major Research and Development hub. Many leading corporations across a wide range of industries have chosen the Science park as their home for R&D activities. The Singapore Science Park offers research and IT space, catering to disciplines such as: Biomedical sciences, Information technology, Software development, Telecommunications, Electronics, Food technology, etc.
