The employees would get the new salaries with retrospective effect from June 2, 2014.
However, the arrears would be deposited into their General Provident Fund (GPF) accounts and they would get the new salaries from March.
The Finance Department would issue necessary orders possibly on Friday, he said.
Making the announcement amidst huge applause from the leaders of various employees’ associations after holding a meeting with them, the Chief Minister said it was the first pay revision to the Telangana employees after formation of the new State.
“Never in the past such a huge fitment was given to the employees and the present increase is beyond their expectations”, he said.
