The Telangana government is planning to set up an outpost of the T-Hub at Silicon Valley, said Telangana industries, IT and municipal administration and urban development (MAUD) minister K T Rama Rao.
The minister revealed his government’s plans while addressing a gathering at an event hosted by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) at Santa Clara in California in the US.
In fact, Rao had mooted this proposal during his last visit to the US last year as an outpost of T-Hub will help startups have direct access to more investors can even get exposure to international markets..
Rao also invited investors, startups and members of the startup ecosystem at Silicon Valley to partner with Telangana government in mentoring and engaging with startups at the T-Hub.
The minister pointed out that supporting entrepreneurs and skilling are high on the state government’s agenda. He also explained about the government’s single window policy – TSiPASS (that ensures single window clearances in 15 days for a mega project in the state) – and IT policy.
