The Telangana government on Monday given postings to 24 IAS officers while transferring four Collectors. Incidentally, five districts have got women Collectors.
Karimnagar Collector M. Veerabrahmaiah was transferred as Special Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Warangal Collector G. Kishan as Additional Commissioner GHMC. Nalgonda Collector T. Chiranjeevulu was also shifted but he was not given any posting.
Ms. Neetu Kumari Prasad was made Karimnagar Collector, Ms. V. Karuna as Warangal Collector, Ms. T.K. Sreedevi as Mahbubnagar Collector and P. Satyanarayana Reddy as Nalgonda district. All of them were awaiting postings. Ms. G.D. Priyadarshini was shifted as Collector from Mahabubnagar to Adilabad.
Ms. K. Nirmala is the new Hyderabad Collector. The other officers who were awaiting postings included senior bureaucrats M.G. Gopal who is new Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Ms. Ranjeev R. Acharya who is Principal Secretary of Education.
Mr. Navin Mittal and Mr. Gaurav Uppal have been appointed as Special Commissioner and Additional Commissioner respectively of GHMC.
Ms. Pausumi Basu is also the Additional Commissioner of the corporation.
