Telangana Government is going to change of Telangana 104, 108 services names Stating that effective measures would be taken up to improve 104 and 108 services in the State, Deputy Chief Minister T Rajaiah said that the government proposed to change the names of these services.
He assured the State government would improve infrastructure and refurnish all government hospitals across the State before March 2015 and about Rs 111 crore has been allocated for that purpose.
He said that the hospitals in the city were overburdened with the increased number of patients.
Referring to the State of affairs in Niloufer hospital, he said that it treats about 250 patients with only 30 beds and for this reason the hospital would be given Rs 8 crore for improving the facilities. Moreover, the government would provide Rs 66.6 crore for the development of medical colleges, he said.
