Telangana Ministers Mahmood Ali, Naini Narsimha Reddy, K T Rama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T Padmarao and L&T Company MD Gadgil on Friday traveled by the Metro Rail on Uppal-Mettuguda route along with commuters.
Earlier, the Hyderabad Metro Rail officials and L&T Company representatives welcomed the Ministers. The Ministers inspected the state-of-the-art technology at the Railway Station and got into the Metro bogie. They enquired with experts about the facilities in the train.

KTR said the journey in the Metro Rail gave a good feeling. He said the aim of Metro Rail was to move commuters to their destinations very speedily.
He said the State government was spending Rs 3,000 crore for the sake of Metro Rail. The Metro Rail works reached a final stage by overcoming the problems of land acquisition and other problems.
Srinivas Yadav said the Metro Rail works were taken up on a par with the international standards. The journey time of the commuters would be greatly reduced with the Metro Rail introduction.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was striving to provide Metro Rail services to the people at the earliest, he said.
