Telangana Study Circle (TSC) launched. Telangana students to qualify for civil services like IAS, IPS and IFS, Justice Konda Madhava Reddy Foundation on Monday launched a non-profit making coaching center, ‘Telangana Study Circle’ (TSC).
Speaking on the occasion, Chevella MP and Secretary & Founder Trustee of JKMR Foundation Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that the study circle was being launched to correct the dismal representation of Telugu people in Civil Services and other central jobs.
“Though Telugu people are 10 per cent of the population of the country, our representation in these services is very low. Telangana which has less than 1 per cent representation in civil and central Government services,” he said. The JKMR Foundation, KVR said, would equip aspirants for Group I & II positions of the Telangana Sate Public Services Commissions, which would soon be setup.
“The courses will be open for students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and will begin in four weeks’ time. The cost will be affordable and be within the reach of even aspirants from lower middle class,” he said.
The MP said that classes would be conducted for students of both English and Telugu medium and possibly even for Urdu medium students.
“The classes will be hosted at Citadel Research & Solutions Limited located at 35, Avenue 1 of Sai Enclave in Road No. 12 of Banjara Hills,” said KVR. Director of Telangana Study Circle, Captain Lingala Pandu Ranga Reddy said, “The Ministry of Home Affairs recruits 3000 personnel annually into paramilitary forces such as the CRPF, BSF, CISF and ITBP.
There is very little contribution from the Telugu-speaking people in these services. The study circle will help train candidates to be recruited for these services.” Captain Reddy would be the director & founder secretary of Hyderabad Study Circle.
The Chevella MP said that the Captain had vast experience in guiding candidates to IAS, IPS and APPS Group I services. “Many of his students are senior IAS and IPS officers not only in AP, Telangana but also in other states,” he said.
This study circle aims to organise classes and coaching to candidates who aspire to join the Union Public Service Commission, the Telangana Public Services and other commissioned posts in the Armed Forces. The organisation also provides coaching for United Nations and World Bank recruitment programs.
