The newly-formed Telangana State & TSCHE all set to conduct it first Eamcet 2015 on May 14 and the notification to this effect would be issued on February 25.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU-H), which will conduct the entrance test, is considering increasing the number of exam centres. There would be no test centre in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
Online applications for Telangana state Eamcet 2015 will be accepted between February 28 and April 9. The notification for the state’s maiden Eamcet will be issued on February 25.
No changes have been made in the pattern of the Eamcet this year. For normalisation, officials said the AP Board of Intermediate Education will be treated on par with other Boards of the country, like the CBSE.
Fees for the exam can be paid through select private banks in addition to the TS and AP Mee Seva centres as well as TS and AP Online centres. Students will have to obtain at least 25 per cent of the total 160 marks to qualify for ranking.

TSCHE Chairman Sai about Eamcet 2015
Announcing the schedule for EAMCET 2015 on Friday, Eamcet exam convenor N V Ramana Rao said that the notification for the test would be issued on February 25 and submission of online applications would commence from February 28.
Ramana Rao said that there would not be any change in the examination pattern, either for engineering or medicine in any way. The qualifying percentage of marks in the entrance test is 25 per cent of the maximum marks of the test.
There would be no change in the percentage of open quota and 15 per cent open quota for students of AP would remain. He reiterated that if AP students wanted seats in the colleges of Telangana, they need to attend for a test conducted by the State government.
