TS Eamcet 2016 Dates Announced by TSCHE Chairman Papi Reddy on Tuesday that the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) will hold Eamcet on May 2 2016.
The official released the entrance exams schedule for the year of 2016. EAMCET and ECET will be by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University while EDCET and PGCET will be held by Osmania University and Kakatiya University will hold ICET and LAWCET.
TS Eamcet 2016 Dates
TS EAMCET 2016 will be conducted on 2 May 2016 by JNTU, Hyderabad, on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
The exam will be conducted for the admission into engineering, medical, dental and agricultural courses in private and government colleges of the state, in the session 2016-17. So, far on the exam date, eligibility and exam pattern has been released by the conducting body.

TS EAMCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen or Person of India Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holder. Additionally, he must be a permanent resident of the Telangana State.
Local Requirements: Candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as mentioned in the Telangana state educational regulations order 1974.
Educational
- The aspirant must have qualified or appeared for the final year of higher senior secondary examination (10+2 Exam) with Mathematics, Physics along with any of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering and Technology.
- As per the Eligibility Criteria of TS EAMCET 2016, intermediate examination has to be conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2001-2003 and successive batches, or any other examination which is considered equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, provided that the candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of higher senior secondary examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh will also be eligible for Bio-Technology course.
- It is mandatory to obtain at least 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the specified reserved category) in the subjects mentioned at class XII level.
