The stalemate over TS EAMCET counselling for Telangana students has finally come to an end on Tuesday with the State government announcing that it would commence the process from August 14 with the mandatory certificate verification process and conclude it before August 23.
Telangana State Council for Higher Education chairman T Papi Reddy announced that the entire counselling process would be completed by the end of August, as per the Supreme Court directions.
He said, “I urge all the Telangana students to go and get their certificates verified at the Helpline centres they have selected between August 14 and 23.”
Informing that the decision was taken after a meeting with officials concerned at Secretariat, Reddy said that the Telangana Technical Education Commissioner would look after the counselling process in the State and ensure that the academic year of the students is not wasted.
