Professor Ganta Chakrapani was here on Thursday to participate in various programmes, including the sports and cultural festivities day of SRR Government Arts and Science College.

Ganta Chakrapani said that the government had instructed them to conduct recruitment of 640 engineers in the PR Department and accordingly they were taking all measures for the issuance of the notification soon.
He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had also spoken to him personally to expedite the recruitment of engineers in the PR Department.
Attributing the delay in the recruitment to various posts due to delay in the submission of the Kamalnathan Committee report, which is expected in March or April, he said that the committee would give options to employees, which would take one month.
Another hurdle is the regularisation of contract employees in all departments, he said.
TSPSC Syllabus:
The Professor Ganta Chakrapani said that there was no confusion on syllabus for the TSPSC examination and it was decided to continue old pattern of examinations for Group I and II for this year.
