The TSPSC chairman Ghanta Chakrapani on Thursday said that the commission would release the job notification as soon as the State government provides details of vacant seats in the State.
He said that the commission was yet to receive complete information on the number of vacant posts in government departments across the State. “The commission is just a nodal agency and acts as per the instructions of the State government.
Once government provides us with the needed information on vacancies, we will release the notification,” he added. Chakrapani said that the suggestions of the Syllabus Committee would be submitted to the government for approval and implementation.
The Syllabus Committee, on the other hand, has reiterated that students preparing for the State examinations need not worry as there would be no major changes in the syllabus and pattern.
After conducting a final meeting with other members of the Syllabus Committee on Thursday, committee head G Haragopal said that the scheme of examinations would be changed as of now. He said that but for changes relating to history, geopolitical issues, art and culture of Telangana, no major changes would be made in the syllabus this year.
He said that minor changes in the scheme of the examinations have been discussed during the meeting and they would submit a report to the commission in a day or two. Member of committee M Kodandaram asked the State government to make arrangements for early release of the notification for the benefit of lakhs of students.
