The long-cherished wish of the tourists to take a boat ride in the picturesque Kinnerasani reservoir in Palvancha mandal is set to be realised as the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) is poised to launch a boat service in the reservoir on June 5.
Tourism promotion activities in the area surrounding the reservoir at Yanambailu, which is part of the vast Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary, are expected to get a major thrust following the decision of the TSTDC to introduce the most sought after boating service in the reservoir.
The deer park adjoining the Kinnerasani project is an added attraction at the scenic site, surrounded by nature’s bounty.

According to official sources, the Centre has sanctioned Rs. 3.23 crore to upgrade tourist facilities, renovate the defunct cottages as well as the dilapidated glass house and revive the canteen at Kinnerasani reservoir.
