CM KCR announced a good news for the unemployed youth in the State. He said his Govt would fill around 50,000 Telangana Govt Jobs in various departments, including the much-competed State cadre posts of Group-I and Group-II services.
The Government is planning to release a calendar of notifications to fill the jobs in phased manner. This would be done after the Government arrives at a conclusion on the total jobs that need to be filled in the Government.
While work is on to know the available vacancies, things could only be clear after the finalization of the allocation of State and zonal cadre jobs between TS and AP. Right now, the vacancies available are around 20,000 and notification for this would be expected in 3-4 months, as per Government sources.
The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSSPC )formation process is already underway. Once this is done, the notifications for Group-I, Group-II, lecturers in Govt junior, degree and polytechnic colleges, executive and assistant executive engineers’ recruitment would be released by the Commission on a priority basis, said a Government source.
There has been no State Government recruitment in last 3 years due to uncertainty over bifurcation and the State Government realized the desperation of student community who are waiting opportunities. The recruitment process is expected to cool down tempers of some students protesting regularization of contract employees.
