The CM KCR bus yatra means that the administration will be on wheels.
“I will start bus yatra after the Assembly session. I will accord sanction on the spot for major works like roads,” Rao said at a public meeting at Myladeverapalli in Rajendranagar mandal on Friday. Rao inducted TDP MLA Prakash Goud into the TRS by offering him his party kanduva.
Addressing a meeting later, Rao announced his programmes. “I am going to Mumbai on March 8 to sign pacts with the Maharashtra government on irrigation projects.
After the budget session, my tour of districts by bus will commence,” he said. Rao assured that there would be no power cuts in Telangana in future.
“The TRS always keeps its word. The irrigation projects will be completed on time. Every house will get potable water,” Rao said. He recalled that the social security pension, Asara, beneficiaries increased in Telangana state. “Earlier, Rangareddy district used to get Rs 7 crore for pensions.
Now, the same district is getting Rs 35 crore.” Rao said welfare would be the top priority and get a major chunk in the state budget for 2016-17.
He assured local farmers that the problems arising out of implementation of GO No.111 would be resolved soon.
